Adult Faith Formation

Adult Scripture Study

The Monday Morning Bible Study is a great group of people who gather to study scripture, develop friendships and pray. We are not great scripture scholars but just people who have an interest in learning more about the Word of God, and in that process share with everyone how God has helped us in our daily lives. In the process of conversation, needs for prayer arise and in closing our sessions, we pray for those needs. We are a group open to anyone who would like to join us or just check us out. We meet on Mondays from 9:00 to 10:30, sometimes running until 11:00 A.M. We start the study in mid September, breaking for the Holidays and start back up in January through mid May. Please join us!

Marriage Encounter

A weekend experience for husband and wife to strengthen communication skills, make the marriage last and rediscover the joy and passion that God intended for the sacrament of Matrimony. Find a weekend experience near you.

Men’s Bible Study

This group consists of men in our parish and in the area that get together to discuss scripture. Meeting times are usually two Monday evenings a month from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Studies are held at someone’s house. Contact Jeff Gilbertson at 507-934-7368.

Mom’s Group

The Mom’s Group is designed for women in the area who gather together to support one another through prayer. They also grow together spiritually through scripture study and discussion on a variety of different topics relevant to Christian women. The Mom’s group meets two Friday a month from 9:00-11:00 A.M. at one of the member’s home. Childcare is available. All denominations are welcome. Contact JoAnna Gleisner at 507-380-8786.

Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA)

An adult parish process which usually includes 20 sessions by which an adult becomes a Catholic Christian. “From the time of the apostles, becoming a Christian has been accomplished by a journey and initiation in several stages. This journey can be covered rapidly or slowly, but certain essential elements will always have to be present: proclamation of the Word, acceptance of the Gospel entailing conversion, profession of faith, Baptism itself, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and admission to Eucharistic communion.” Catechism of the Catholic Church, #1220. Learn more about RCIA.

Women’s Group

The women’s group consists of women who want to know more about their Catholic faith through book studies, discussions, and prayer. Meeting times are usually two Monday evenings a month from 7:45-9:30 p.m. Studies are held at someone’s house. Contact Mary Grack at 507-327-8621.
