Confirmation celebrates the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit which empowers the person to become a disciple of Jesus Christ and to go forth to share the saving power of the Gospel in word and action. In the 11th grade students become candidates for Confirmation in which they study and prepare to receive the last of the Initiation Sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist).

Confirmation Candidates will be prepared for the Sacrament during the LifeTeen program. There is also an option to homeschool your child for the Sacramental preparation this year due to COVID-19.

Parent/Candidate Meeting – September 2nd at 7pm at the Church of St. Peter. If you would like to attend via Zoom, please contact Mary Grack (

Adults wishing to receive Confirmation are encouraged to join the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program.
